What devices can I watch Neon on?

You can watch Neon on the big screen, curl up with your tablet, or sneak in an episode or two on your smartphone.

Neon will be available for selected 2017 or later Samsung Smart TVs, 2017 or later Panasonic Smart TVs, 2018 or later LG Web OS Smart TVs, selected 2015 onwards Sony Smart TVs, 2018 onwards TCL Smart TVs and 2019 onwards JVC TVs.  

You can also watch Neon on any TV with an HDMI port using Chromecast, Apple TV, or your computer connected via HDMI cable.

Google Chromecast makes any TV a Smart TV! It plugs into the HDMI port of your TV and uses your home WiFi to stream content from your smartphone, tablet or the Google Chrome browser on your computer. When playing a show on the Neon app, select the Chromecast icon to cast the show to your TV.

You will be able to download the Neon app for PlayStation 4 or Playstation 5, log in with your Neon account details and choose something cool to watch!

You will be able to watch Neon on The New Freeview Recorder or the SmartVU X made by DishTV.

You will be able to download the Neon Apple TV Gen 4 app, log in with your Neon account details and choose something cool to watch! Neon will also support AirPlay.

You will be able to watch shows from the Neon website on your laptop or desktop computer. Neon will be available on Windows 7, 8 and 10 and MacOS X on the following browsers: Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. You can also plug your computer into your TV with an HDMI cable, if your computer and TV have HDMI ports.

You will be able to download the Neon app to stream or download content on the fly or cast to your TV to stream on the big screen. Neon will not be available on Windows tablets or phones.

How many devices can I register on my Neon account?

On all Neon plans, you can register up to five different devices (PC/Macs, iPads/iPhones, Apple TV (Gen4), PlayStation® 4, PlayStation® 5, Smart TVs etc) at once on your account and remove a total of 12 devices from your account per year.

Are there any restrictions for Download & Go?

This feature is only available on a monthly Standard or Annual Plan. To download content, you must be using a tablet/mobile device with the Neon app running Android 5.0 or later, or iOS10 or later. 

Downloads to devices that do not meet this criteria will not work. Any content you download is only playable on the device that you've download the content to.  You can download up to 25 total TV shows per account where 5 of which are movies. For example 25 episodes of any TV show and no movies, or five movies and 20 episodes of any TV show. Any content you download is only playable on the device that you've downloaded the content to.  Downloads expire after 31 days from the date of downloading or 48 hours from start of play. Once a TV show or movie has been downloaded, it cannot be downloaded again to the same account until either the content has been deleted from the device it was downloaded to, or the download expires. You may play any episode of a TV show a maximum of two times.  

Please note due to our contracts with studio partners, some TV shows and movies may not be available for download. If a TV show or movie is not available for download, you will see the following message if you try to download the content: "Sorry, this content is not available for download".
